Search for the traces of my grandfather

dear forum,
Apology, that I cannot write Russian. I learned Russian before 15 years in the school. Unfortunately I forgot most again.

Why I write: My grandfather was imprisoned taken to at the end of of 1944 by the
Red Army. He came then into a camp to Murmansk. It told, that he worked there in the port. 1948 it became to dismiss and returned to Germany. I was experienced gladly more over the camps with Murmansk. I would be very grateful, if someone can give me references over the camps.
